Day 1 Kampala
Travel to Uganda and visit Kampala. Use free time in Uganda’s capital to visit markets, museums and shops. If time permits, choose to wander Kabaka’s Trail – a community initiative established to give visitors an insight into the history, customs and culture of Uganda
Day 2: Kampala – Jinja – Kampala
Depart at 7:00am to Jinja for white water rafting through the Mabira Forest, have your lunch and return later to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe
Day 3: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park
Depart to Murchison Falls National Park, lunch in Masindi, and then proceed driving through the cool Budongo forest with lots of Baboons, the escarpments that were caused by volcanicity then arrive at Paraa Safari Lodge or Red Chillis for dinner, overnight on full board basis.
Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park
Morning game drive that lasts 3-4 hours then proceed for Lunch then an afternoon boat ride to the bottom of the falls with lots of crocodiles Hippos birds of several species, then return for dinner, overnight on full board basis.
Day 5: Murchison Falls National Park – Kibale Forest National Park
Depart to Kibale Forest National Park through the western arm of the Rift Valley also you get a chance to see the Lake Albert from an aerial view, have your Lunch in Hoima town then head straight to Ndali Lodge or Rwenzori Travellers Inn were you will have dinner and overnight on full board.
Day 4: Kibale Forest National Park–Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early Morning Chimpanzee tracking and after lunch transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or Institute of Ecology full board.
Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Morning game drive after early warm up tea or coffee at 6:00am, return for a full breakfast before a 2nd Game drive to the crater area & afternoon boat ride to Kazinga Channel, return to have an evening game driver before you retire for dinner and overnight in Queen Elizabeth National Park. BLD
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi Gorilla Forest
Early morning departure to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park for game drive searching for tree climbing Lions and other animals, to Bwindi, forest a village walk to the pygmies people who will show their traditional dance and aircraft made from the forest l, dinner and overnight at Ruhija Gorilla Lodge.
Day 7: Bwindi Gorilla Forest
Morning Gorilla tracking through the Bwindi impenetrable rain forest and after lunch village walk to the pygmies return for dinner, overnight on full board.
Day 8: Bwindi Gorilla Forest – Lake Bunyonyi
Depart Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi, for those that would like to hit the rocks with their 4wd, can use the Ruhija route which is much shorter though sometimes really tough mainly during rainy seasons, or go the Long way through Kanungu. Boat ride after lunch via several islands before landing at Bushara Island for dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Lake Bunyonyi – Kampala
Leave for Kampala across the mountains and hills of western Uganda, lunch at Agip Motel in Mbarara then hit the road for another 4 and a half hours before you arrive for an overnight at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel on bed, breakfast.
