Day 1: Wildlife safari We will meet you in Kigali, then drive for two hours through Rwanda’s stunning landscape to Akagera National Park. On the game drive you will see a variety of birds and animals, including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, spotted hyena, and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at Akagera Safari Lodge/Dereva Hotel.
Day 2: Canoe Ride/ Game Drive After an early breakfast, your game drive begins by witnessing a spectacular sunrise and early morning bird songs. You have the option of a morning game drive in the park or a canoe ride on Lake Ihema to see the hippos, huge Nile crocodile and wetland birds. At the end of the day you will return to Kigali.
